Tranformers

As a reward for quitting smoking, my mother handed me an envelope today. It contained two tickets for the screening of Transformers in Providence, RI on June 28 (1 week before the movie comes out). Alan Hassenfeld (owner of Hasbro) insisted that the screening take place in Providence rather than Hollywood as usual, seeing as how Hasbro's world headquarters are right here in little ol' Rhode Island.The ticket entitles me to dinner with the cast & crew,quit smoking now, followed by cocktails, then the movie. These tickets are exclusive, and very rare! Fortunately, Alan is a family friend, and he gave these tickets to my mom.I'm still completely stunned by this. I'll actually be watching the movie a full week before it comes out, and I'll be sitting in the same theater as Steven Spielberg. Hopefully I'll get to sit next to Megan Fox!Unfortunately, cameras are not allowed (they print it right on the tickets) but hopefully I'll get someone to be there on the other side of the rope with a camera. Oh man,smoking cessation, I can't wait!! Now I gotta bring my suit out of hibernation...
